New Found Glory and Reuben lead first 2000trees 2027 lineup wave for festival's 20th year
Creeper, The Menzingers, Thursday and Fever 333 also confirmed, plus a Revival Tour takeover with Brian Fallon and Chuck Ragan.
2000trees has announced its first wave of acts for 2027, the year the UK festival turns 20. New Found Glory are the first confirmed headliner, returning to Britain for a set that will also celebrate the life and legacy of guitarist Chad Gilbert.
In a statement, the band said it had spent the year building shows for 2027 to mark its 30th anniversary, and that Gilbert was involved in those plans. "Chad was a part of all these plans", the group said, adding he would be there in spirit as they celebrate with fans worldwide.
The other headline moment is the return of Reuben, a band already honoured with a campsite named after them at the festival. The opening wave also includes Creeper, The Menzingers, Fever 333, Thursday, unpeople, Chalk, Bayside, Vower, Lonely the Brave, The Meffs, Electric Six, Baby Lasagna, Hot Water Music, INME, Taylor Acorn, Jamie Lenman, Sincere Engineer, The Chisel, Gen and the Degenerates and dozens more.
The Forest stage will host a Revival Tour takeover featuring Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem, Chuck Ragan of Hot Water Music, Dave Hause, Dan Andriano of Alkaline Trio, Tim Barry, Emily Barker and Jenny Owen Youngs.
Festival organiser James Scarlett said the same six friends who launched 2000trees are still involved and that the event has stayed independent, built on nurturing new artists alongside bigger names. Past performers include Frank Turner, Idles, Wolf Alice, George Ezra and Kneecap. The 2027 edition runs July 7-10 at Upcote Farm, with tickets available through the festival's website.
