Autoignition drop "Buzzer Beater" video ahead of US tours with Sowing and Glean
The Buffalo pop punk band shares a clip directed by Alex Scalzo-Brown as it lines up two runs of American dates this fall.
Buffalo, New York pop punk band Autoignition have released a music video for "Buzzer Beater." Directed by Alex Scalzo-Brown, the clip follows a heated basketball rivalry cut with footage of the band delivering the song.
The track itself is built around life on the road, a fitting theme given what comes next for the group. Autoignition begin a US tour with Sowing on October 2nd, then head to California in November for a string of shows alongside Glean.
The video extends the campaign behind the band's Against The World EP, which arrived in May. The release came out on vinyl through Static Era Records and on CD via 51st State Records.
Autoignition trade in urgent energy, bouncy riffs and a loose, carefree vocal delivery, placing them in the same conversation as acts like Saves The Day, Lifetime, The Story So Far and Koyo. That lineage has helped the band find an audience within the current wave of American pop punk and emo.
"Buzzer Beater" is streaming now, and the back-to-back touring stretch represents the band's busiest period since the EP's release earlier this year.
