The Offspring and Pennywise headline benefit show for TSOL's Mike Roche

Southern California's punk community has organized a benefit concert for TSOL founding bassist Mike Roche, whose health has continued to decline following his Parkinson's disease and dementia diagnoses. The show is set for November 7th at the Garden Amphitheatre.

The bill features The Offspring, Pennywise, Circle Jerks, Adolescents, Guttermouth, Change Today, The Mainliners, Death By Stereo, Love Canal and Dissension. Tickets go on sale September 18th at 9am PST through Gardenamp.com. Artist Shepard Fairey created a commemorative print that will be sold exclusively at the venue, and anyone unable to attend can contribute through a GoFundMe campaign set up for Roche.

Roche has been with TSOL since the band formed in 1978, known for his distinctive playing and for the Rickenbacker bass now on display at The Punk Rock Museum. His longtime partner, Tracy Vaughn, disclosed the diagnoses in 2024. His condition has progressed since then, and he now requires round-the-clock care at a cost well beyond what insurance covers, with friends and family describing the situation as urgent.

Pennywise guitarist Fletcher Dragge said The Offspring were the first band to step forward and offer help, calling the night "a great night for a great human." He credited Roche with inspiring him to play in a punk band in the first place, pointing to a TSOL show as the first real punk gig he ever attended. Dragge also thanked the Garden Amphitheatre, which offered the venue free of charge to make the event possible.
