Soul Glo set January release for new album NA I'M GON GRAB ALLAT
Lead single "February Theory" features members of Mannequin Pussy and Commitment, with more guests from TV on the Radio, MIKE and BbyMutha.
Philadelphia hardcore band Soul Glo have announced NA I'M GON GRAB ALLAT, out Jan. 15 through Epitaph. The record follows 2022's Diaspora Problems and was tracked at Foto Club in the group's home city.
Vocalist Pierce Jordan dedicated the album to anyone who has known "the joy and pain of loving a man," naming platonic, romantic, familial and self-directed love. The guest list leans heavily on the band's local circle: Commitment's Tati Salazar and Mannequin Pussy's Bear both appear on lead single "February Theory," released today with a video. Tunde Adebimpe of TV on the Radio, Whipping Boy's Eugene Robinson, MIKE and BbyMutha also turn up across the record.
The 14-song tracklist is anchored by a four-part run titled "Resentment I: Back In Therapy," "Resentment II: Kiss My Ass," "Resentment III: My Friends Over Me" and "Resentment IV: Head Tattoos." Other titles include "B.A.N.D.S," "Ppl Worried," "The Hardest R" and closer "Cognac."
Soul Glo begin a run of U.S. headline dates later this week. After that, the band join Chat Pile as support on the Who Loves the Sun tour.
