Movements, beabadoobee and Yellowcard headline September's album releases

September is stacked for alternative music fans. The month opens on Sept. 4 with "Happier Now", the new Movements album on Fearless, alongside Chat Pile's "Who Loves The Sun" via The Flenser and Amyl and the Sniffers' live document "Truth or Consequence (Live from El Coyote)".

That same week also brings Harrison Gordon's "BLISS" on Hopeless, Purest Form's "RESISTANCE EP", Faux Real's "Poison Time", Darcy Baylis' "Emotronica" and a collection of '90s four-track demos and field recordings from Melissa Auf der Maur.

On Sept. 11, Bloc Party return with "Anatomy of a Brief Romance", Pretty Sick drop "Anarchy" through Dirty Hit and This Is Lorelei release "The Singer In My Band" on Matador. Friko issue an expanded edition of their record, while Joyer share a remix set.

The busiest date is Sept. 18. beabadoobee releases "Pylon", Orville Peck delivers "Mule", Slow Pulp share "Melodie", Emma Ruth Rundle unveils "These Killing Times" and Yellowcard reissue "Better Days" as a deluxe edition via Better Noise. Huddy, Lizzy McAlpine, Boy Harsher, After, Jawdropped and Just Penelope round out the day.

The month closes on Sept. 25 with Blondshell's "Violins", Gilla Band's "Pugnello", Godflesh's "Decay" and Tom Morello's "Everyone Gets Everything They Want". Also arriving are records from Smidley, Starcleaner Reunion, Index, Forest and gash, plus the Joy Division live release "Eternal".
