Jen Pop takes on NOFX's "The Idiots are Taking Over"
The artist has shared her rendition of one of the most pointedly political songs in the California punk band's catalog
Jen Pop has released a cover of NOFX's "The Idiots are Taking Over." The track is out now and arrives as a standalone recording from the artist.
The song, first recorded by NOFX, is among the most frequently cited entries in the band's discography when it comes to their political streak, a defining trait of the group across decades of touring and recording.
No further details have been announced regarding a larger project tied to the cover, nor any additional information about production or follow-up releases. One-off covers remain a common move for punk and alternative artists looking to stay active between full-length efforts.
