Ignite announce new album "Still Wide Awake" and drop two singles
The Orange County melodic hardcore veterans will launch Vinyl Threat Records, the label born out of The Punk Rock Museum, with a full-length due January 15, 2027.
Ignite have announced Still Wide Awake, their new full-length, set for release on January 15, 2027. The record arrives through Vinyl Threat Records, the newly launched label spun out of The Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas, with the Orange County band standing as one of the imprint's flagship signings.
The group returns as a four-piece. According to the album's rollout, the new material ranks among the fastest, most aggressive and most socially urgent music the band has written, built on the same mix of raw intensity, soaring melody and hardcore roots that has defined Ignite for decades.
Two singles are already out: the title track Still Wide Awake and Guilty Wounds. Music videos for both songs were filmed on the museum grounds in Las Vegas ahead of the announcement.
Outside the United States, Still Wide Awake will be handled by three partner labels: Bearded Punk Records in Europe, Lockjaw Records in the UK and Thousand Islands Records in Canada.
Bassist Brett Rasmussen called the association with The Punk Rock Museum "a huge honor" for the band, pointing to the amount of music history housed in the building. He added that Ignite wanted a label partnership rooted in a hands-on, DIY punk and hardcore work ethic, and that teaming with the Vinyl Threat crew felt natural from the start, especially after shooting the first two videos inside the museum.
