Harker release third studio album "All That Remains"
The Brighton band's new full length arrives via Disconnect Disconnect Records, Shield Recordings and Fixing a Hole Records, with a UK tour to follow.
Brighton's Harker have put out their third full length, "All That Remains". The record is available now through Disconnect Disconnect Records in the UK, Shield Recordings across Europe and Fixing a Hole Records in Japan.
The album was recorded and mixed by Toby May alongside the band at the Levellers' Metway Studio in their hometown, with Jason Livermore handling mastering duties at The Blasting Room. It stands as the group's most ambitious and fully realised effort so far, and marks the recorded debut of guitarist Louis May, who lines up with Mark Boniface, Phoebe Saunders and Matt Claxton.
Harker started back in 2015 as a solo outlet for Boniface, built on house shows and small rooms, before growing into a full band that has toured steadily through the UK, Europe, the United States and Japan. Their sound leans on Brighton's DIY ethos, pairing the grit associated with Dischord Records and the fuzz-soaked warmth of '90s indie rock with the melodic bite of Superchunk, Against Me! and The Replacements.
According to the band, the new album pushes their sound forward while holding on to the raw honesty that has defined them since the beginning. Harker will support the release with a run of UK dates this autumn, bringing their high-energy, cathartic live set to stages around the country.
