Anthony Green and Four Year Strong join Andy Williams celebration of life
The free event honouring the Every Time I Die founding guitarist takes place at Buffalo River Works on September 27, with acoustic tributes throughout the night.
A celebration of life for Andy Williams, who died earlier this week, has been set for September 27 at Buffalo River Works in Buffalo. Attendance is free of charge, with tickets available to reserve in advance.
Acoustic tributes will run throughout the evening. The first performers confirmed are Stephen Brodsky and Adam McGrath of Cave In, Dan O'Connor and Alan Day of Four Year Strong, and Anthony Green, with more names still to be announced. A special video tribute is also planned, built from photos and clips sent in by friends and fans to andywilliamsforever@gmail.com.
Williams was a founding member of Every Time I Die and played on all nine of the band's studio albums, from 2001's 'Last Night In Town' to 2021's 'Radical', up until the group disbanded in 2022. He most recently played in the metalcore band Atomic Rule, which put out two three-track EPs in 2025.
Alongside music, he built a career in wrestling, competing in AEW as 'The Butcher' in a tag team with Jesse 'The Blade' Guilmette. He suffered a medical emergency during an 'Enjoy Wrestling' match in Millvale, Pennsylvania on Saturday night, September 5, and was rushed to hospital. His death was reported shortly afterwards.
