NOFX are the subject of a new documentary, "NOFX: 40 Years of Fuckin' Up", covering four decades of one of punk rock's most influential and unruly bands. The film was reviewed by Kerrang! in a piece written by John Longbottom.

According to the review, the documentary makes no attempt to clean up the band's history. It is described as a chaotic portrait that matches an equally chaotic career, keeping the irreverent tone that has followed the Fat Mike-led group since the beginning.

Formed in California, NOFX became a reference point for generations of punk and pop punk bands, largely by building a long career outside the mainstream industry, running their own label and maintaining a direct relationship with their audience. That history provides the backdrop for the film.

The band had been working through an extended farewell from the stage, closing out a run that began in the 1980s. The documentary arrives as a record of that cycle, pulling together material from the group's various eras.

No information has been announced so far about screenings in Brazil.
