British pop-punk band X2Fast have shared an early listen to their new single, "Attention Span." The track premiered through Chorus.fm on Wednesday.

The release was timed to ADHD awareness month, a subject that runs through the song's lyrics. According to the band, the track sums up the experience of growing up and trying to function in everyday life.

Musically, "Attention Span" leans on a quick tempo and a big chorus, with the group citing 2000s pop-punk and easycore as its main reference points. "We're absolutely buzzing to release our new single during ADHD awareness month," lead vocalist Nat Billings said of the release.

Still building an audience outside the UK, X2Fast have been assembling a run of singles aimed squarely at listeners drawn to the current wave of bands revisiting fast guitars and melodic vocals. "Attention Span" fits that mold and works as an entry point for anyone new to the group.

The early listen is available now, and the band's other songs can be streamed on digital platforms.
