The Transits return with new single and video "Tongue Tied"
The track is the band's first new music since the 2025 album Bleed Hope and kicks off what the group is calling "Season 3"
The Transits are back with "Tongue Tied", a new single released alongside a music video. It is the band's first piece of new music since Bleed Hope, their 2025 album, and it opens a new chapter the group has nicknamed "Season 3".
The band builds its sound on collision: punk guitars against synths, darker textures against big pop hooks, and teenage nostalgia pushed somewhere less familiar. "Tongue Tied" leans into the faster, more immediate end of that formula.
Vocalist and bassist Dom Antelme said the writing never really stopped after Bleed Hope. The group kept working and ended up with another batch of songs taking shape, with "Tongue Tied" chosen as the reintroduction. "It's fast, fun, a little nostalgic", he said of the track.
Antelme also noted that the newer material is shaping up upbeat, a hint at the direction the band plans to follow through this new season. No further details about a full-length or EP have been announced so far.
