The Minneapolis shoegaze band's list spans Alvvays and Beach House to Chapterhouse, whose recent North American return they opened

Minneapolis dream pop and shoegaze band She's Green have chosen their five favorite dream pop albums in a video made for BrooklynVegan. The list moves between newer acts such as Alvvays and Beach House and veterans like Chapterhouse.

The Chapterhouse pick carries a personal connection: She's Green recently served as the opening act on the British band's first North American tour in 16 years. In the video, the group explains what each record means to them.

She's Green's new EP, Swallowtail, is out now, and the band has a heavy touring schedule ahead. A UK and European run begins in late August with a show in Milton Keynes, followed by appearances at Leeds Festival and Reading Festival and dates in Bristol, Manchester, Brighton, London, Paris, Brussels, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Berlin and Cologne.

A lengthy North American tour follows, starting September 29 in Iowa City and wrapping November 6 at the Varsity in their hometown of Minneapolis. Stops along the way include Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Nashville, Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, Austin, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver and Chicago.

The Brooklyn date lands October 7 at Baby's All Right with Witches Exist and smush. Those two acts join for much of the North American leg, while Starling comes aboard for the final stretch beginning with the Los Angeles show at The Roxy Theatre.
