Producer Butch Walker accused of sexual misconduct in Instagram post
A user identified as amandalunt says a relationship began when she was 15 and Walker was 31; the producer has not commented publicly.
Producer Butch Walker, known for his work with Avril Lavigne, Fall Out Boy, Green Day and The Bronx, has been accused of sexual misconduct. The allegation surfaced earlier this week in a detailed post published on Instagram by a user identified as amandalunt.
In the account, she states that Walker began a relationship with her when she was 15 years old and he was 31, and that the relationship continued for years. The claims come solely from that social media post.
Walker has not issued a statement about the allegations, and no response from representatives has been made public. None of the claims have been independently verified, and there is no information about legal action connected to the matter.
Over the past two decades, Walker has built a career as a producer and songwriter with deep ties to the pop punk and alternative world, working on records and songs for some of the scene's biggest names. This story will be updated if any of the parties involved comment publicly.
