Knocked Loose Frontman Names Country and Pop Dream Collaborations
Bryan Garris pointed to Tyler Childers and Billie Eilish as artists he'd like to work with, and revealed a missed opportunity with Demi Lovato.
Knocked Loose vocalist Bryan Garris has shared which artists he'd like to see featured on a future track with the band. Appearing on Mythical Kitchen's Last Meals, the singer said country music is the one territory the group has yet to cover.
His pick was Tyler Childers, a fellow Kentucky native. Garris explained that the hard part is finding a country artist whose political views line up with his own, and said Childers is outspoken about his, serving as an advocate in their home state and a strong example for the genre's newer generation.
Asked about pop stars who have publicly praised the band, Garris said he would absolutely work with Billie Eilish, though the two have never been in contact. He called "Birds of a Feather" one of the best songs ever written and argued the pairing would make more sense than people assume. As for Demi Lovato, he revealed he was once approached about taking part in a re-recording, but touring commitments kept the conversation from going further.
Knocked Loose have already built a track record of guest appearances, including Poppy on "Suffocate," Denzel Curry on "Hive Mind" and Motionless in White's Chris Motionless on "Slaughterhouse 2."
The band is currently on the road with Denzel Curry, Superheaven and Boundaries in support. The current leg wraps Nov. 5 in Austin, Texas, with a Mexico City date on Nov. 8 closing out the year. Several festival and cruise appearances are already booked for 2027.
