Karen Dió returns with "Fugaz" EP and lines up EU and UK shows

The Brazilian artist's second EP arrives via Hopeless Records, followed by festival slots in Spain and France, a September UK tour and Brazilian dates in the new year.

Karen Dió is back with "Fugaz", her sophomore EP. Released through Hopeless Records, the record builds on the momentum she gained after "Sick Ride" took off online, and she describes it as her sharpest and most personal batch of songs so far.

Across the EP, Dió digs into the passage of time, personal freedom and the idea of eternal youth. The perspective comes from lived experience rather than nostalgia, an approach rooted in a childhood spent moving constantly, which left her with a lasting sense that nothing stays the same for long.

Beyond the music, Dió has made a point of pushing Brazil's punk rock community onto a global stage. For her, representing her Latin roots is not a talking point but a responsibility, and that stance shapes both the record and the way she plans her international schedule.

Upcoming shows include appearances at Canela Party in Spain and Omega Sound Fest in France. A UK tour follows in September, with Brazilian dates confirmed for the new year to round out the touring cycle behind "Fugaz".
