Aftershock 2026 brings My Chemical Romance, Pierce the Veil and Tool to Sacramento
Four days at Discovery Park across five stages featured a Circa Survive return and From First to Last playing with new vocalist Lil Lotus.
Aftershock 2026 wrapped another edition at Discovery Park in Sacramento, with four days of music spread across five stages. The Sacramento festival pulled together emo, punk, rock and metal under a lineup topped by My Chemical Romance, Pierce the Veil, Limp Bizkit and Tool.
Beyond the headliners, the weekend featured sets from Mayday Parade, the Starting Line, Drain, Alexisonfire, Sleeping With Sirens, the Story So Far and AFI. The Used, Thursday, Hot Mulligan, The Wonder Years, A Day to Remember, Suicidal Tendencies, Chiodos and The Pretty Reckless also played, spanning several generations of heavy music.
A few sets stood out. Circa Survive returned to the stage at the festival, while From First to Last performed with new vocalist Lil Lotus. During L.S. Dunes' set, Frank Iero wore a shirt calling attention to the Cornell 7.
Photographer Ryan Bakerink was on site throughout the weekend documenting the performances. Aftershock continues to serve as one of the key stops on the American festival calendar for heavy music fans, built on a mix of established headliners and rising acts across its multiple stages.
