We are an independent news outlet covering pop punk, emo, melodic hardcore and the wider alternative scene. The idea is simple: fans of these bands in Brazil have always had to rely on English-language sites. Here the coverage arrives in Portuguese, just as fast.

We follow the scene reference publications every day. When something matters, our newsroom checks the facts and writes the story in its own words, always crediting where the information came from and putting a direct link to the original publication at the end of every piece.

We do not republish anyone else text. News is fact, and facts belong to no one, but the newsroom that reported it deserves the credit and the click. That is why every story here points back to its source.

All content is available in Portuguese, English and Spanish. Use the switcher at the top of the page.

Review and responsibility

Every story goes through review before it is published. The editor checks the text against the original publication, which is credited and linked at the foot of every page, and answers for what is published here.

Corrections policy

If we get it wrong, we fix it. Found an error in a story? Write to sociais@remyzdrojeski.com.br with the link. The text is corrected, the modified date is updated and, when the error changes the meaning of what was published, a note at the end of the text says what changed and when.

Remy Zdrojeski edits the outlet. He picks the sources, decides what the outlet covers, reviews stories before they go live and answers for corrections.

The coverage is pop punk, emo, melodic hardcore and everything around it: releases, tours, videos, festivals and what the scene is talking about.
