Brooklyn emo band wakelee have put out a video for "Statue", the latest preview of their upcoming full-length under construction forever.
The record is scheduled for release on October 9 through Wax Bodega, the label that has become a home for much of the current wave of emo and pop punk acts in the United States. It follows Doghouse, the EP the band issued in 2025.
The release arrives as the group prepares to hit the road. Starting in October, wakelee will tour North America alongside Hot Mulligan, One Step Closer and Riley!, a bill that pulls together several corners of present-day emo and melodic hardcore.
The "Statue" clip is out now and doubles as an introduction to the album for audiences who will catch the band on that run. No dates outside North America have been announced so far.
