Slipknot's 2027 stadium tour will feature a B stage in select cities
Ticketing seating charts reveal a second stage at 11 shows, while São Paulo's The Town date is among those without one listed.
Slipknot's return to the stage in 2027, after nearly two years away, will come with an added wrinkle: a secondary stage at some stops on their stadium run. The detail wasn't part of any announcement. It surfaced in seating charts on ticketing sites, which show a "B stage" placed between the pit and the seated sections at certain venues.
When the tour was revealed on Sept. 28, the press release only hinted at production changes, promising a brand new set, new staging and a career-spanning setlist billed as the ultimate Slipknot experience to date. Fans spotted the extra structure days later while buying tickets.
As it stands, eleven dates list both a main stage and a B stage, including Wembley Stadium in London, Citi Field in Queens, Soldier Field in Chicago, SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Rogers Stadium in Toronto and Estadio Huracán in Buenos Aires. Eight shows currently show no labeled second stage: Montréal, Boston, Nashville, San Francisco, the Sept. 4 date at The Town in São Paulo, Santiago, Lima and Bogotá. Boston, Nashville, Santiago and Bogotá do display something on their charts that could be a second stage, though it isn't marked as one.
With no explanation from the band, speculation has filled the gap. The most common theory is that drummer Eloy Casagrande will use the smaller stage for an extended solo. Others expect the band to move between stages during the night, as Nine Inch Nails did on their latest tour, or to play a separate second set in the style My Chemical Romance has used recently.
Tickets for every date on the run are on sale now, with details available through Slipknot's official website.
