Slam Dunk Reveals First Wave for 2027 With Simple Plan and Bowling For Soup
The UK festival returns to Temple Newsam and Hatfield on 29 and 30 May, with Killswitch Engage making their debut and Reel Big Fish playing an exclusive reunion set.
Slam Dunk has unveiled the opening batch of names for its 2027 edition. The festival lands on the late May bank holiday weekend, Saturday 29 and Sunday 30, once again splitting between Temple Newsam and Hatfield. The running order flips this time around, with Leeds opening the weekend and Hatfield closing it.
Bowling For Soup will mark 25 years since "Drunk Enough to Dance", while Simple Plan headline Slam Dunk for the first time in eight years, arriving as debut album "No Pads, No Helmets….Just Balls" hits its own 25th anniversary. Reel Big Fish, long-running staples of both ska and the festival itself, return for an exclusive UK reunion show following a hiatus.
More ska comes courtesy of Less Than Jake, The Interrupters and Grade 2. On the heavier side, Killswitch Engage top the heavy stage in their first ever Slam Dunk appearance.
Also booked across the weekend are Beartooth, Wage War, The Amity Affliction, Melrose Avenue, From Ashes to New, Sleeping With Sirens, The Used, The Main, We The Kings, The Academy Is…, Cute is What We Aim For, Knuckle Puck, The Front Bottoms and Love Rarely, with further names still to be confirmed.
Pre-sale tickets go live in the festival app on Friday 2 October and remain available for 48 hours. General sale follows on Monday 5 October.
