Slam Dunk Festival locks in 2027 dates for North and South
The two legs swap days next year: Leeds takes Saturday, May 29, while Hatfield moves to Sunday, May 30.
Slam Dunk Festival has made its first move toward 2027, confirming the weekend when both of its UK editions will take place. The festival returns on May 29 and 30.
The biggest change is the running order. Slam Dunk North, held at Temple Newsam Park in Leeds, now falls on Saturday, May 29. Slam Dunk South, at Hatfield Park, shifts to Sunday, May 30 — a reversal of how the weekend has been laid out in recent years.
The two-city, back-to-back format remains the festival's signature, with the same lineup playing both sites across consecutive days so fans in the north and south of England get essentially the same bill.
No artists have been revealed yet. Organizers say the first band announcement is coming soon, and fans can sign up for updates at slamdunkfestival.com to hear it first.
Slam Dunk has long been one of Europe's key gatherings for pop punk, emo, melodic hardcore and metalcore, regularly pairing genre veterans with newer names from the alternative scene.
