Severe weather delays Lollapalooza day three and forces sets off the schedule

Saturday at Lollapalooza 2026 started hours behind schedule. Severe weather in Chicago pushed doors at Grant Park back to 3 PM, forcing organizers to rework the entire day's timetable.

The compressed schedule claimed the day's earliest performers. Wisp and Sunday (1994) were dropped from the lineup altogether, while others, including Wolf Alice, had their sets trimmed. In a message to ticketholders, the festival warned about conditions on the grounds, advising fans to wear waterproof shoes, be patient moving around the park and bring "all the positive vibes."

Geese hit a separate snag once they got onstage in the late afternoon, playing without some of their gear. "Thank you to United Airlines for losing our guitar," Cameron Winter told the crowd before launching into "2122," joking that the quality of the set was up in the air.

The rest of the day went ahead as planned, with performances from Clipse, Ethel Cain, Momma, Frost Children, Jennie and Sienna Spiro, among others. Photos from the day were shot by James Richards IV, who also covered Thursday and Friday at the festival. Sunday coverage is still to come.
