Geordie Greep has called off the remaining dates of his US tour following an allegation of sexual assault. The accusation surfaced publicly on Thursday (Oct. 8), when flyers were distributed to fans waiting in line for his Vancouver concert. The flyers called the musician a rapist and included the line, "You know what you did this morning Oct 8th."

That night's performance began roughly two hours behind schedule, and the former black midi member played without his backing band. Addressing the crowd, Greep said he had been at a house party and made a move that wasn't reciprocated, adding that he apologized right away and considered the episode a misunderstanding on his part. "I would never rape a woman. I'm not a rapist," he told the audience.

Shows in Boise, Salt Lake City, Boulder, and Denver have since been pulled from the schedule. The cancellations arrived without any statement from Greep himself — ticket-holders learned the news through emails sent by the venues.

As of now, his Wednesday (Oct. 14) date at The Slowdown in Omaha has not been flagged as canceled. European dates are set to begin next month, and there has been no word yet on whether those will go ahead.
