Bridge City Sinners have lined up the New Year's Evil Tour, a short four-show run with support from Riley Downing of The Deslondes and Roselit Bone.

The dates kick off December 30 in Boise before the band rings in the new year at home in Portland, playing the Roseland Theater on New Year's Eve. Stops in Bellingham and Vancouver round out the run.

The announcement lands in the middle of a packed stretch. The group heads back to the UK and Ireland for the Repent Repeat tour, starting September 30 in Brighton. Later in October, their Trick or Treat shows hit the West Coast, and in November the band joins Streetlight Manifesto for three Texas dates.

Alongside the news, Bridge City Sinners put out a live video for "Spears and Blades," shot in one continuous take from the stage by Ryys at a show in Cologne, Germany.

Built around banjo, fiddle, guitar, upright bass and ukulele, the band pulls from old-time jazz, Appalachian folk and punk, pairing eerie ballads with loud singalongs. That mix has carried them from Punk Rock Bowling to Muddy Roots and Oregon's Bluegrass String Summit. "Can't wait to be back in the UK," vocalist King Strang said of the overseas run.
